Jaca Enterprises announces the first truly versatile, free-standing, portable, light weight, multifunctional “Cargo Stabilizer Device” ever made -- for personal or commercial use.

The Wedge-it is the first “Cargo Stabilizing Device” that can be used in virtually any vehicle, including passenger cars, SUVs, pick-up trucks, delivery trucks, boats, and RVs. Wedge-it will hold, firmly in place, the groceries in your trunk, sales literature in your car, the cooler in your boat, and the tool chest in your pick-up or utility truck, as well as most anything within your RV storage compartments.

It is light enough for a child to transport the Wedge-it from one vehicle to the next. Its small size and light weight makes it easy to move from one vehicle to another.

Wedge-it is also easy to use. Just place your cargo into any secure corner of the vehicle. Then position any corner of the Wedge-it under the opposing corner of your cargo. The soft rubber tread on the base of the Wedge-it gives the unit intense grabbing power.

We equipped Wedge-it with a removable cap at the top of the unit so that you can add sand or any other weighting materials to make the Wedge-it even more stable and capable of immobilizing an even heavier load.

Sacramento, CA. Jaca Enterprises, Inc. (JEI), a Roseville, California company introduced its latest product release, the Wedge-it, to 50,000 consumers at the Home and Garden Show, held January 26-28 in Sacramento, CA. Word of mouth drew crowds of attendees to the Wedge-it booth where JEI representatives demonstrated the new product that “takes the motion out of things that move.”

The Wedge-it is the first “Cargo Stabilizing Device” that can be used in virtually any vehicle. In addition to consumer applications, the Wedge-it is also a product under consideration for commercial use, including state and local government, both here and abroad.

JEI demonstrated the Wedge-it with a motion simulator designed to simulate a moving vehicle in rough terrain or highly rough waters. The motion simulator was equipped with three different surfaces, carpet, linoleum, and one inch metal slats to demonstrate how well the Wedge-it performs in the various conditions a consumer would encounter in their car or SUV, RV or boat, pick-up or utility vehicle.

Consumers were drawn to the JEI booth by a video demonstrating the many uses and applications of the Wedge-it. The video includes a fast moving, off-road demonstration of the Wedge-it holding a cooler and a large paint container securely in the back of an unlined truck bed. The truck is driven on all kinds of terrain and takes on the roughest off-road bumps and pot holes. During the driving demonstration, the contents actually bounce into the air but return, thanks to the traction and superior design of the Wedge-it, to their secure place in the truck bed.
